I began writing for the SF Foghorn the minute I stepped foot on campus. I interviewed for a news deputy position while driving into the city to move into my freshman dorm. I wrote in news all of that year, before becoming web editor for the following year. In October, I was asked to step in as opinion editor, and when COVID hit and we experienced some staff changes due to remote accessibility, I took on the layout position, too. In the summer before my senior year, I was offered the Managing Editor role, where I was able to lead the staff through a crazy year online, while continuing my love for writing and designing.
